Minim for ISP Service Program Update

Dear Minim ISP Customer,

This notice is to inform you of important changes to the Minim ISP service offering. Please read the information below in its entirety as it will affect your Minim ISP services.

As Minim continues to grow its mission of creating intelligent networking products that deliver secure connections, we have made the difficult decision to no longer offer the Minim for ISP Services Program. This notice serves as official communication of termination, per the terms of your agreement with Minim.

Customers impacted by this termination will include:

  • Non-Motorola hardware running a Minim agent (including Mikrotik, GL.iNet, ZTE, and other third party devices)
  • Motorola branded devices that are associated with an ISP customer or partner account
  • ISP and partners associated Care Portal accounts

For your information, a more detailed timeline regarding termination of the Minim for ISP services is outlined below:

November 1, 2022 - Official notice is provided to all customers informing them of Minim’s decision to no longer offer ISP and Partner services, effective November 1, 2023 (“Termination Date”). New customers or accounts will not be provisioned from this day onward. Existing customers will see no change in their current service through the termination date and; however, beginning on November 1, 2022, no new features or additional development on existing services will be completed.

Technical Support will continue as currently offered through the Termination Date and customers will continue to be billed their regular monthly subscription fees. Any migration assistance required will only include help in removing existing integrations a customer may have had with the Minim platform (for example, a billing integration), and will not include any other types of assistance in onboarding to a new provider.

November 1, 2023 -  On the date immediately following this date, Minim will disable all Care Portal accounts for ISP customers as well as any associated billing accounts tied to those customers. In addition, Minim will disable/turn down all infrastructure that supports the Minim cloud agent for 3rd party devices.

What you need to do:

  • Contact our support team at support@minim.com with any questions surrounding existing integrations that may need to be removed as you migrate to a new provider for your devices (e.g. billing integrations).
  • For ISP customers with subscribers using Motorola devices, please contact support@minim.com for assistance in migrating your subscribers from your associated ISP account to our consumer based Motosync services. Once complete, your subscribers will be able to contact Motorola Network customer support for assistance and troubleshooting with their Motorola device only. Your subscribers would still contact you for billing/account questions as it relates to their relationship with you, the ISP, or for help with any other equipment  (such as their modem) that you have provided them with.

We want to thank you for your business and support over the past several years. We wish you and your organization nothing but success.
